2024 was a landmark year for RCP London Events, with record-breaking achievements, a strong commitment to sustainability and exciting innovations that have enhanced the event experience.
Record-breaking growth
Over the past year, our venue hosted an impressive 346 events, welcoming 32,705 guests and catering 304 lunches, 53 dinners and 112 drinks receptions in addition to conferences, meetings and AGMs.
June 2024 marked a milestone with record-breaking revenue, increasing 22.95% compared to June 2023, following an equally impressive 24.48% rise from 2022. These consecutive achievements reflect our ongoing growth and success in delivering high-quality events.
Sustainability in action
Sustainability remained a core focus throughout all our operations, with several impactful initiatives shaping the way forward. We launched our Venue Green Taskforce, a volunteer-led team meeting monthly to assess and improve sustainability practices. In 2024, their work spanned waste reduction, ethical supplier sourcing, and increased community engagement, ensuring that environmental responsibility remained at the heart of operations.

The venue returned to using 100% certified green electricity and achieved ECOsmart Gold certification, reinforcing its commitment to greener operations. Digital menus were also introduced, significantly cutting down on paper waste. On the catering front, menus were refined to feature more plant-based and environmentally friendly options, reducing reliance on high-carbon foods such as beef and lamb.
Recycling efforts were strengthened too, with the venue maintaining an impressive 80% recycling rate thanks to improvements in waste management and staff training.
Thoughtful upgrades
Sustainability and inclusivity were also central to the refurbishment of the Wolfson Theatre. The redesign featured carpets made from Econyl yarn, UK-manufactured seating, and hand-crafted wood panelling sourced sustainably. Accessibility was a priority, with the installation of a motorised platform lift, advanced assisted listening technology, and live captioning to support diverse needs. The new design also incorporated elements to create a more comfortable experience for neurodivergent attendees and those with mobility requirements.
The venue also introduced a new AV projection package to enhance the event experience and continued its collaboration with caterer Company of Cooks, adding calorie counts to menus to support more informed and balanced dining choices.

Industry recognition and team development
The team’s dedication and hard work were recognised with prestigious industry awards throughout the year. RCP London Events took home the Gold Award for Best Venue up to 500 Attendees at the Conference and Events Awards and received the Silver Award for Best Conference Venue at the London Venue and Catering Awards. The venue also confirmed its ISO 1901 certification, highlighting excellence in quality management.
A commitment to professional development remained a priority, with Deputy General Manager Ana Ruskova completing her Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager apprenticeship with distinction, while Senior Events and Staffing Manager Daria Kozewnikowa began her Level 4 Hospitality Manager apprenticeship. Head Chef Jonathan Hughes was also nominated for the Innovation Award at the Company of Cooks Awards. The team grew throughout the year, welcoming two new team leaders, a Sales & Marketing Executive, and five AV technicians and video producers.
Reflecting on the year, Natacha Allen, Head of Commercial Events, said: “2024 has been an extraordinary year for RCP London Events. From breaking records to driving sustainability and earning industry recognition, we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. As we look ahead to 2025, we remain committed to innovation, environmental responsibility and delivering outstanding experiences for our clients.”
