As the commercial events arm of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), we exist not only to host exceptional events but to support a greater mission. The RCP is a registered charity and all profits from venue hire go directly towards advancing medical education, supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient care across the UK.
Supporting healthcare through events
When you host your conference or event with us, you’re not only choosing an award-winning, central London venue, you’re contributing to a healthier future. Every conference, meeting and celebration supports the RCP’s vital mission.
Empowering social enterprises
We’re proud to work with like-minded partners and suppliers who share our values of inclusion, empowerment and social impact.
In partnership with our caterer, Company of Cooks, we support several social enterprises that help people facing social and economic disadvantage:
- Luminary Bakery – A London-based women-led charity that empowers marginalised women through training and employment. By serving Luminary’s cakes at your event, you’re helping women rebuild their lives after experiences of abuse, homelessness or the criminal justice system
- Well Grounded – Transforming lives through coffee. This enterprise trains individuals from underserved communities to become qualified baristas, providing them with vital skills and employment opportunities
- Springboard – We also work closely with Springboard to support young people into careers in hospitality through work placements, fundraising and ambassador programmes
- Educational programmes at RCP London Events' Medicinal Garden
Our Medicinal Garden, which hosts a collection of over 1,000 plants with links to medicine, offers educational opportunities for the wider community.
Monthly tours led by RCP Fellows provide a free, accessible experience to learn more about medicinal plants. Educational materials on the trails present within the garden, such as the Shakespearean trail, are available for pickup at the garden entrance.
Events like London Open Gardens in June and participation in the National Garden Scheme Charity provide further avenues for learning, as well as three free lecture afternoons hosted every year by the RCP Garden team.
- Giving back to society
As part of our Giving Something Back policy, our team members are encouraged to make a difference in the local community, with an additional day off each year to support a good cause.

- Accessibility features
Great events should be inclusive and accessible to everyone. This is why we are committed to continuously enhancing accessibility across all spaces, ensuring every guest, speaker and delegate feels supported and welcome whilst attending an event at RCP London Events.

- The Wolfson Theatre refurbishment
In August 2024, we completed an extensive refurbishment of our main auditorium, the Wolfson Theatre.
Every detail of the refurbishment was chosen to reduce environmental impact while elevating the space's design to enhance the delegate experience. Particular attention was placed on meeting the needs of neurodivergent individuals: the interiors of this 300-seat theatre now feature a muted, neutral colour palette to reduce sensory oversimulation.
