RCP London Events wins gold and silver awards at the Conference & Events Awards 2025

We’re thrilled to share that RCP London Events has been recognised with not one but two accolades at the Conference & Events Awards 2025, a celebration of excellence across the events industry.

Held annually, these prestigious awards champion the achievements of conference organisers, in-house events teams, venues, agencies and suppliers. On Friday 27 June, our team was honoured to take home Gold for Best Conference / Event Venue and Silver for Best Venue Customer Service.

Two award wins 

Winning Gold for Best Conference / Event Venue is a reflection of the unique blend of heritage, innovation and sustainability we offer at our striking Grade I listed home overlooking Regent’s Park. With versatile event spaces ranging from the historic Censors’ Room to the newly refurbished, inclusive Wolfson Theatre, we aim to deliver unforgettable experiences for every client and guest.

We’re equally proud to have been awarded Silver for Best Venue Customer Service. Exceptional service is at the heart of what we do, from personalised venue tours and custom AV previews to dedicated planners and seamless on-the-day delivery. Whether it’s a major medical conference, a summer party or an association’s AGM, our team works tirelessly to make each event feel effortless and personal.

A record-breaking year 

These wins come off the back of a record-breaking year for RCP London Events, with over 32,000 guests welcomed through our doors in 2024. They also represent the combined efforts of every team member, from planners and operations to front-of-house and AV, who go above and beyond to support our clients and bring their events to life.

We continuously invest in our venue to ensure it provides an exceptional experience for conferences and events. Our approach focuses on innovation, sustainability, and outstanding service, ensuring every client receives a first-class experience. 

One of our most significant initiatives has been the recent refurbishment of the Wolfson Theatre, our flagship auditorium. This project was driven by a commitment to enhancing delegate experience, sustainability, and accessibility. The upgraded space now features cutting-edge AV and hybrid event technology, allowing seamless integration for both in-person and virtual attendees. The theatre’s improved acoustics, lighting, and seating create a more engaging environment, ensuring speakers and audiences can interact in a calmer, more inclusive environment.

Conscious conferences

Beyond physical improvements, we prioritise sustainability in every aspect of venue operations. We have implemented a ‘conscious conferences’ approach, enabling organisers to host meetings aligned with their ESG goals. This includes:

• Offering plant-based and sustainable catering as standard
• Partnerships with ethical suppliers
• Bottling filtered water in-house, successfully reducing single-use plastics
• Undergoing regular waste and recycling training, with new waste streams added in 2024

Additionally, we operate on 100% green electricity and gas, further minimising environmental impact. Thanks to these efforts, we achieved an 80% recycling rate for the year, received a Gold award from our waste partner First Mile, and became a Greengage ECOsmart Gold accredited venue, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Our focus on healthy, high-quality catering sets us apart. We have repositioned food offerings to prioritise plant-based, nutritious meals, prominently featuring vegetarian and vegan options. Our partnership with Company of Cooks introduced the ‘Fuel not Feed’ concept, ensuring delegates receive energising, healthy meals to sustain focus and productivity.

We also support charitable organisations, including Springboard and Well Grounded, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility. As a registered charity, all revenue from events hosted at our venue supports the RCP in improving patient health.
