Secret Garden Fest: A spectacular summer evening at RCP London Events

We were thrilled to host our annual Secret Garden Fest at the end of June. With the sun shining brightly, over 180 event professionals and clients joined us at our central London venue, opposite Regent’s Park, to celebrate summer in style. The atmosphere was truly infectious and the event exceeded all expectations. 

A warm welcome

A feast for the senses

One of the highlights of the evening was undoubtedly the food and drinks. Our wood-burning pizza oven was a crowd favorite, serving freshly-baked pizzas that delighted every palate. Catering with dietary requirements is of paramount importance to us, and our pizza chefs ensured a range of pizzas were served throughout the night, including vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options for everybody to enjoy. 

Additionally, the delicious produce from our hand-picked London Larder suppliers was a testament to the quality and variety of the local fare. In collaboration with catering partner Company of Cooks, we pride ourselves on only working with local suppliers providing the freshest seasonal produce. On the evening, we showcased produce from a selection of high-end suppliers: 

• Cold meats and salami from Cobble Lane Cured, a specialist butchery based in Islington, London, working with a small selection of high-quality British producers and farmers
• Artisan British cheeses from Paxton & Whitfield, Britain’s leading cheesemonger for over 200 years
• Salmon canape station with fresh salmon from H. Forman and Son
• Master-crafted breads from bakery Paul Rhodes 
• Lamb wrap station with slow cooked smoked lamb shoulder from HG Walters
• Guests enjoyed a range of refreshing cocktails and mocktails, perfect for the warm summer evening, provided by supplier Edmunds Cocktails

We were also delighted to have some of our local food suppliers back with us for our showcase, including wine supplier Ellis Wines and our brand-new gelato supplier, Hackney Gelato. 

The culinary experience was truly unforgettable, leaving everyone craving more.

Entertainment and timeless tunes

There’s no festival without good music and we were excited to welcome the Bow Fiddlies Trio, who captivated the crowd with their fresh, high-energy acoustic performances. Playing a delightful mix of classic favorites and all-time hits, their music set the perfect backdrop.
A unique feature of this year’s Secret Garden Fest was the RCP Passport. Upon registration, each guest received a passport encouraging them to participate in various suggested activities throughout the event. The excitement built as guests eagerly completed their passports for a chance to win fantastic prizes. This interactive element added an extra layer of fun and engagement to the evening.

Summer Chic and sparkling style

In keeping with the festival theme, guests embraced the summer chic dress code with gusto. Bright, colourful outfits lit up the event and many took advantage of the festival-inspired sparkling make-up available on-site to add an extra touch of glamor to their look. The vibrant attire and creative make-up added a lively, festive flair to the evening.

A night to remember

As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that Secret Garden Fest had been a resounding success. The combination of excellent food, vibrant entertainment and the company of over 200 attendees made it an unforgettable celebration of summer.
