Secret Garden Fest 2025 at RCP London Events

We were delighted to welcome guests back to RCP London Events for our third annual Secret Garden Fest at the start of July. It was a joyful celebration of the season, our clients and partners and the beautiful surroundings of the Royal College of Physicians.

With the sun on our side and music in the air, the evening showcased everything we love most about events: great food and drink, good company and inspiring spaces brought to life with creativity, colour and a little bit of sparkle.

Flavours, fun and festival flare

We pulled out all the stops with our catering partner, Company of Cooks, to deliver an irresistible menu. Guests tucked into freshly made pizza from our outdoor wood-burning pizza oven, flavourful paella, and treats from a circus-inspired stall.

To keep everyone cool and refreshed, we were joined by a stand-out line-up of suppliers serving delicious drinks and desserts throughout the night.

Guests enjoyed:

  • REAL’s English Sparkling Tea – a sophisticated non-alcoholic alternative with all the fizz and flavour of fine sparkling wine.
  • Two Tribes draft beer – brewed in London and perfect for a summer evening.
  • Hackney Gelato – serving premium Italian-style ice cream in a range of indulgent flavours.
  • Luminary Bakery – whose beautifully crafted cakes added a sweet and thoughtful touch.
  • The Glitter Bar – bringing fun and flair with eco-glitter designs and a side of margaritas.

And of course, our very own Secret Garden Bar was back, mixing up colourful cocktails and refreshing mocktails inspired by the surroundings.

A celebration of space and story

This year’s Secret Garden Fest not only celebrated the venue but the stories that make it special.

Guests were invited to explore our Medicinal Garden, which is home to over 1,000 unique plants with links to the history of medicine. The garden is an oasis of biodiversity in the heart of London and plays a vital role in supporting pollinators and birdlife. We’re incredibly proud of our gardening team, led by Head Gardener Jane, who joined us on the night and were happy to chat with fellow plant enthusiasts.

Our museum team, Liz and Gail, ran a lively ‘guess the herb’ game with prizes up for grabs – a fun way to engage with the rich heritage of the College, which includes rare books, medical artefacts and centuries of knowledge.

Innovation in action

Our AV and production team also took the spotlight with an immersive, futuristic experience in the Seligman Theatre. Guests were treated to a sensory journey showcasing what’s possible when cutting-edge tech meets creative storytelling, a reminder of the versatility our venue offers for all kinds of events, from conferences to brand activations.

We were also proud to show off our newly refurbished Wolfson Theatre, which has been thoughtfully redesigned with neurodiversity and sustainability in mind.

Giving back

This year, we chose to support Action Tutoring, a brilliant UK education charity providing free, high-quality maths and English tuition to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their mission resonates with our own values of care, collaboration, and learning and thanks to our guests, we were able to raise awareness (and funds) for this important cause.

Events like this are only possible thanks to the wonderful community we work with, our clients, partners, suppliers, and team. A special thanks to everyone who joined us, and to our full sales and event planning team, who were on hand throughout the evening to welcome guests, answer questions and give tours of the venue.

As always, we loved seeing your photos and posts on social media – congratulations to our best post winner and we hope you enjoyed the handmade gift on your way home. Until next year...
