The Royal College of Physicians to take part in Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money for Cancer Research UK

Six staff members from the Meetings & Events team at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) will be taking part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy on 1st October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The team, who have called themselves The Half Dirty Dozen, will be heading to Brockwell Park in London on 1st October to get down and dirty in the 5K muddy obstacle course. The six ladies have set up a JustGiving page to help encourage donations and have already raised over £750 for the cause.

Jennifer Jones, Diary Manager at the RCP, says: ‘We are thrilled to be taking part in Race for Life Pretty Muddy in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We are working hard to meet our target just in time for the race and would like to say a massive thank you to all of those who have donated so far.’

The Race for Life Pretty Muddy isn’t like any other fundraising event and encourages all women of any ability to take part.  If you would like to donate or find out more about what the Half Dirty Dozen will be doing at Race for Life Pretty Muddy please visit their JustGiving page. Thank you!
