RCP London Events wins Silver for Best Conference Venue at the London Venue & Catering Awards 2024

RCP London Events is thrilled to have won Silver for Best Conference Venue at the prestigious London Venue & Catering Awards, held at the Old Billingsgate on Friday 22 November. This recognition reflects our team's unwavering dedication to excellence, innovation and commitment to deliver memorable event experiences.

Over the past year, we have worked closely with organisers to ensure our facilities and services not only meet but exceed their needs which has helped us remain a top choice for event planners. For example:

Creativity and collaboration 

In response to the growing demand for hybrid events, streaming and filming, this year we worked on enhancing our audiovisual capabilities significantly. This included introducing creative options like projection mapping, sound stings and streaming from multiple rooms to add a dynamic edge to events, upgrading video streaming methods to deliver higher-quality outputs and reduce post-production times for on-demand content and providing tailored branding templates to give clients a polished, professional finish to their recordings.

Delivering culinary excellence

Recognising the importance of wellbeing and sustainability, we’ve introduced flexible drinks and catering options, such as plant-based menus, alcohol-free options, bento boxes and networking food bowls. These additions encourage connections during events while aligning with our clients’ values. Meanwhile, our Sustainable Drinks Upgrade Package has elevated post-conference receptions, offering premium eco-conscious beverages.

Commitments to sustainability

We’re proud to have reduced our glass recycling by 15% through a shift to in-house mineral and carbonated water systems and cut food waste by 20% through smarter practices. These efforts reflect our mission to minimise environmental impact while delivering outstanding service.

The Best Conference Venue category was highly competitive, celebrating venues that demonstrate exemplary service, innovative solutions and exceptional facilities. The Silver award is a testament to our team’s passion and dedication to hosting world-class events that leave lasting impressions.
