Beyond the meeting room: what to do near RCP London Events

When choosing an event venue in central London, location matters as much as the space itself. RCP London Events sits at the heart of one of London’s most vibrant and well-connected neighbourhoods, giving delegates easy access to green spaces, cultural landmarks, great food and iconic shopping, all within walking distance or a short tube ride away.

Regent’s Park

Regent's Park is virtually on the doorstep, offering the perfect escape from a busy conference schedule at any point during the day. One of London’s most beautiful Royal Parks, it’s ideal for a morning walk, a lunchtime reset, or an evening stroll after networking events.
Delegates can enjoy the flat 4km Outer Circle walking or running route, relax beside the boating lake, or explore Queen Mary’s Gardens, famous for their rose displays in early summer.

ZSL London Zoo

A short walk from our central London venue along  the northern edge of Regent’s Park, ZSL London Zoo makes an excellent option for delegates with a free afternoon.
As one of the world’s oldest scientific zoos supporting global wildlife conservation, it’s a genuinely distinctive way to spend a few hours in London. Keeper talks and feeding sessions take place throughout the day, making it easy to fit a visit around your event schedule.

Camden street food and markets

Just a 20-minute walk or one stop on the tube from the venue, Camden offers a lively and distinctly London experience for delegates wanting to explore a more creative side of the city. Known for its iconic market and live music heritage, Camden is packed with street food stalls, vintage shops, vinyl stores and waterside bars. It’s a great option for casual dining, or simply exploring during downtime.

Madame Tussauds

Just a 10-minute walk from the venue along Marylebone Road, Madame Tussauds London is a great addition to your visit to the Regent’s Park area.
From world leaders and sporting legends to film stars and music icons, the attraction offers plenty to see, especially if you’re visiting London for the first time.

Oxford Street and Marylebone

For delegates with time to explore after the event, some of London's best shopping and dining is within easy reach. Oxford Street, home to flagship stores including Selfridges and John Lewis & Partners, is less than 20 minutes on foot or one stop on the Underground from Great Portland Street.
Nearby, Carnaby Street offers a livelier atmosphere with independent fashion and restaurants, while Marylebone provides a calmer alternative with stylish cafés, bookshops and boutique stores.
For delegates staying overnight, the area is ideal for post-event dining, informal meetings or simply making the most of your time in London.

Staying connected in the heart of London

Located in central London, RCP London Events benefits from excellent transport links from Warren St, Great Portland Street, Regent's Park and Euston stations. For event organisers, that means your delegates arrive easily, leave easily and have plenty to explore in between.
