The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) today announces it has won the contract to host the Event Marketing Association’s (EMA) annual Summer Soiree for 2016.
The EMA Summer Soiree, an annual networking event that brings together corporate event planners, event agency professionals and industry experts, will be taking place on 21st June in the venue’s Medicinal Garden. This evening event will offer over 200 attendees the chance to have a tour of the historical venue, enjoy a cheese masterclass and tasting and participate in a wine matching demonstration. There will also be three BBQ stations, a dessert stand and all guests will be served drinks and canapés upon arrival.
Richard Waddington, Chair of EMA, comments: “This will be our second Summer Soiree and we had a number of interested venues but felt the RCP captured everything we were looking for with its great central location, unique setting and some great outdoor space with its amazing gardens. This will be a cross industry event, with our members, who are exclusively in-house corporate event marketers, inviting special suppliers who have gone that little bit further for them. This is their way of saying thank you. We will also have other senior representatives from across the industry who support Meeting Needs, the event industry’s charity, which will be doing a little fund-raising on the evening.”
The RCP’s Meeting and Events Deputy Director, David Parker, adds: “We are delighted that EMA have chosen us to host their prestigious annual Summer Soiree. We pride ourselves on delivering top quality events and with the event taking place in our magnificent medicinal garden, we could not be more confident in delivering an outstanding evening.”
