The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) which will celebrate its 500th Anniversary during 2018 has once again been awarded BDRC’s VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation. The accreditation system is based on independent feedback from just less than 15,000 pieces of event planner feedbacks across nearly 400 events venues.
The RCP has maintained its Gold Standard accreditation for nine consecutive years thanks to consistently providing customers with an exceptional event experiences.
This year the RCP will mark its 500 anniversary having been first established by Thomas Linacre, Henry VIII’s physician who persuaded the king to found a college to regulate the practice of medicine in 1518. Today, the RCP continues to play a pivotal role in raising standards and shaping public health.
The RCP’s Director – Facilities & Events Marketing, Clive Ostler said: “The decision by BDRC to award the Gold Standard to the RCP for a ninth year in a row demonstrates our total commitment to delivering the highest quality events and world class customer service. I am hugely proud of what we have achieved and hope that it will encourage many new customers to put their trust in us to design and deliver their perfect event.

The venue is located in the heart of London’s Regents Park and can cater for all manner of events for 4 to 400 people. They offer a huge range of flexible indoor and outdoor spaces. During 2017 they hosted filming for a number of Hollywood films, fashion shows during London fashion week, BBQs, parties, hundreds of meetings, congresses, events and more.
