The Royal College of Physicians has been awarded “No1 UK Conference Venue” in the BDRC Venue Verdict Awards for customer satisfaction. The BDRC is the UK’s largest independent research consultancy. The Venue Verdict Awards are based on a measure of performance and customer service. 250 Venues both independent and branded participated in the benchmarking program.
The Meetings & Events Department recently held a Summer Garden Party to thank clients for their on-going support and to encourage future business.
The evening began with blue skies, sunshine, pink champagne and strawberries while Steve Trowell and his jazz band set the scene for a fabulous evening.
Guests were treated to guided tours of our acclaimed Grade 1 listed building and it’s Heritage Collection, whilst the delicious barbecue got underway. A range of sensational dishes and an enormous fruit and cheese display were on offer, with chocolate torte and black Muscat to finish …
The sun went down with fabulous prizes having been won and much smiling, laughter and networking.
“I had such a wonderful time , it was a real joy, after five years of holding events at the College, to experience an event in the medicinal garden and consider the possibilities for the future. As with all previous events, the organization was impeccable, the food and drink were delicious and plentiful and the entertainment was perfect for the setting. On top of that, winning one of the numerous prizes was an amazing bonus!.
